The Tulsa World reporter Leigh Woosley interviewed Ann Patton and Alan Rowland for a story on Tulsa Partners and the Safe & Secure Families program. The Rowland family was featured in a story in the Scene Section on January 12. Date: 1/9/2004 3:46PM Subject: Mayor to present 2003 Mayor's Citizen Corps highlights on Fox 23 Fox 23's Heather Farris interviewed Mayor Bill LaFortune on January 10 about the numerous successes Mayor's Citizen Corps accomplished during its pilot year. The segment aired on January 11. Also, KJRH/Channel 2 reporter Daniel Karnes interviewed Mike McCool, Director of the Tulsa Area Emergency Management Agency, concerning the changes made in Tulsa due to the downgrading of the Homeland Security's Advisory System threat level. The interview ran on January 9. Date: 1/12/2004 7:51AM Subject: Tulsa Business Journal to Do Story on Mayor's Citizen Corps Safe and Secure Phil Cabler of the Tulsa Business Journal wrote a story on the Safe & Secure program for the January 12-16 edition of the Tulsa Business Journal, using information from a presentation done in November for the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) by Sandy Cox and Tim Lovell as well as the year-in-review press release on Mayor's Citizen Corps activities.
