Joint Resolution for the Native Village of Kobuk and the City of Kobuk to establish a Local Citizens Corps Council: WHEREAS: The Native Village of Kobuk and the city of Kobuk jointly desire to establish a Local Citizen Corps Council, which will oversee the development of local, state grant funded Citizen Corps programs to enhance local emergency management strategies. WHEREAS: they do hereby resolve and create the Kobuk Citizens Corps Council which shall henceforth play and advisory role for the Community of Kobuk Citizens Corps program development, Citizen Corps program execution and Citizens Corps expenditures. Further, the City and Native Village of Kobuk agree to be responsible guardians for the Sony Elf 400 Digital Camera and the Artic Oven Tent and also agree that use is strictly limited to the Citizens Corps Programs of Kobuk and Shungnak. Now, therefore be it resolved: That the City and Native Village of Kobuk hereby fully supports the Citizen Corps Program in their endeavor to maintain a sustainable and coordinated relationship with the City and Native Village of Shungnak in all aspects of the grant.
