Local Citizen Corps in the News Archive
As Citizen Corps continues to expand across the country we will bring you stories about ordinary citizens who have greater confidence in their safety because they are better prepared and better trained or success stories from the local Citizen Corps programs, such as reduced crime rates, fewer emergency calls for 911 or even an actual rescue or example of emergency assistance.
We will also bring you news from around the country about Citizen Corps in action. If you have an interesting article that was posted on a News website and don't see it listed here, please email CitizenCorps@dhs.gov with the link to the article.
