Citizen Corps Councils
Councils Around the Country
Since the President announced Citizen Corps one year ago as part of his 2002 State of the Union address, local leaders in cities and counties around the country have started the process of bringing Citizen Corps to their community. We congratulate the communities listed below for getting organized to offer citizens opportunities to help make their communities safer, stronger, and better prepared for preventing and handling threats of terrorism, crime, and other emergencies and disasters.
Each red dot below represents a local Citizen Corps Council. If your community is not listed below, please contact your state Citizen Corps representative and work with your local officials to start a Citizen Corps Council in your community!
