Additional CERT Program Information

The Chaplin-Hampton CERT trains to be a general-purpose team, to be able to handle response to any common emergency needs, including search and rescue, traffic control, triage, HAM and other communications between the location we are deployed to and our EOC, etc.   


We focus on and train for:
- Running Red Cross shelters.
- Running FEMA PODs.
- Handling HAM radio and other communications at our shelters and EOCs.

Basic CERT Training is provided regionally.
