Meet monthly for refreshers, exercises, new training, equipment checks/practice. Capabilities include but are not limited to: neighborhood checks, medical triage/treatment, special needs evacuation, general evacuation, sandbagging, traffic control, damage assessment, basic search and rescue, commodities/donation distribution, staffing medical-PODs/EOC/shelters, community relations/distribution of emergency information to the public, and direct assistance/support to primary emergency services.
