The St. Charles County Teen CERT program is designed to teach students how to identify the types of disasters and hazards most likely to affect their homes, schools and communities. Young adults ages 12-18 are trained to assist in the event of an emergency and or natural disaster, and to be prepared to assist their families and emergency services. Our program offers continued refresher training, along with updated information to keep members current. St. Charles County Teen CERT is an integral part of the St. Charles County CERT Coalition, St. Charles County Citizen Corps Council and Region C CERT Coalition. The goal of Teen CERT is to better prepare the community at an earlier age and offer positive extracurricular activities to the youth of St. Charles County.
