Brief Description: Farmington CERT trains an average of 30 Citizens per session and these classes are held on 2 Saturdays and one week night to complete the practical. We have partnered with the local LDS Church organizations that provide a lot of our trainees. We also work with all CERT Programs in Davis County to help people complete their CERT Training. We also work with the local Fire Department and community on annual Emergency Preparedness Fair. We welcome anyone to the training.

Brief Description: The Cache County CERT Program is specific to the unincorparated areas of the County. Training is provided to individual towns and communities in the rural areas of the County. Brief Description: Murray City Fire Department (MCFD) has been teaching CERT classes since 1996. We are now in the process of organizing our CERT members into three districts. Brief Description: Tremonton's CERT program is still growing. Courses are provided 2-3 times per year and are free to the public. Those wishing to become Tremonton City CERT volunteers will be registered. Joining the team is not a requirement of the program. Brief Description: The City is divided into 11 districts. The goal for 2011 is for each district to organize at least one CERT class, and one CERT refresher class. Each district provides volunteer instructors, who are assisted by professional firefighters and paramedics for those courses requiring their expertise. The City holds periodic CERT TTT courses to help districts develop volunteer CERT instructors. The goal is for each district to have 5 volunteer instructors.

Brief Description: The City of Orem, together with our community's Citizen Corps Program, offers a eight-week CERT course taught by volunteers in our community, the City's Emergency Manager, and Public Safety Officers. Brief Description: The Tooele County CERT program has two areas of focus: communities and schools. Along with traditional CERT organizations, our program also supports CERTs in every single school in the Tooele County School District. Outside of the schools, our program now has three growing CERT groups, one each in Tooele, Grantsville, and Stansbury Park. All three groups coordinate and work together to provide CERT trainers and allow people from any jurisdiction to attend any available CERT course.

Brief Description: The training for CERT in Sunset City is conducted twice a year. Once trained, there are review classes each month. Sunset City plans to use CERTs in emergency situations in all areas of their abilities. The city uses CERTs in non-emergency situations such as the city's annual Sunset Fun Days, neighborhood BBQs, and the Emergency Preparedness Fair.

Brief Description: Our CERT teams all have organized teams with a Commander and Co-Commander in charge of each team. Also, each team has a mobile trailer complete with the equipment to set up and run a shelter without electricity, and with heat and lights. They have the ability to supply medical triage areas and medical supplies. Cribbing materials, tables, chairs, complete paperwork to support a "paper trail" for all workers and victims involved in our disaster.

Brief Description: The Santaquin CERT teams are under the direction of the Santaquin Public Safety Director. CERT teams are utilized in emergency and non-emergency functions. Emergency situations will include locating missing persons, traffic control, mass casualty situations where Emergency Service personnel cannot handle patient care. Brief Description: West Jordan has recently implemented the CERT training for the community. At this time we are emphasizing a rapid response through our CERT Hasty Team concept. A CERT Hasty Team involves three trained CERT members coming together as rapidly as possible after an event to utilitze the skills learned in the CERT Basic Course. Our hope is to get help to people who can be helped before the fire gets too large, the wound bleeds too much or the gas leak gets too large.

Brief Description: The City of St. George CERT Program is comprised of self-activated team members that have received basic CERT training. Brief Description: We meet at the Perry City offices every second Tuesday of the month. We hold a radio net 1 hour before our regular scheduled monthly meeting.
