Brief Description:	Lowcountry CERT Is the CERT Members non- profit organization created to serve as the Citizens Corps Council and expand the CERT program in the tricounty(Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester). Membership in Lowcountry CERT is open to any certified Community Emergency Response Team member from the Lowcountry of South Carolina.Generally, classes are offered at no cost to residents of the respective counties.

Brief Description:	Current status of CERT is limited involvement. County has only one individual hired to management all emergency management functions. CERT was started and primarily overseen by the Lander University Safety Officer. Contact the Emergency Management Office at 864 942 8553 and volunteer to become our leader.

Brief Description:	The Bamberg County CERT program is a meaningful way to help volunteer before, during and after a potential disaster or emergency situation. Our CERT program takes an All- Hazard approach to planning, exercising and training. We work collectively with agencies throughout the county for training purposes, as well as other Citizen Corps programs, such as the Medical Reserve Corps. Utilizing this training, you will be better prepared.

Brief Description:	This program provides training to the general public allowing self assistance during disasters duing the time period established emergency service agencies are triaging response to the most severe incidents.

Brief Description:	We are a small rural county with limited resources and rely on volunteers in the event of an emergency. We trained 145 high school JROTC students in TEEN CERT and plan for them to be an active part or emergencies. The program received national awards for it's efforts. We are targeting faith based and civic groups to fill our CERT program. Public education and awareness is one area we are working in now. This is a program much needed and will continue as long as funds are available.

Brief Description:	The Saluda County CERT conducts team meetings and disaster simulation training exercises each calendar year in an effort to have trained volunteers to support disaster relief efforts within the County if ever needed. The Saluda County CERT Program is open for membership to all Saluda County citizens.

Brief Description:	The Spartanburg CERT program offers a variety of courses in addition to Basic CERT training. These courses help train our Support Services, Ham Radio, and Search & Rescue Units. Equipped with 2 response trailers, a support services trailer, a communications trailer, our own UHF repeater, truck, and John Deere Gator, the CERT program can bring many assets to any response/exercise. Brief Description:	The purpose of Greenville County CERT is to train residents in emergency preparedness & basic response. CERT participants are encouraged to take what they have learned back to their local neighborhoods, workplaces, etc. and organize with others to strengthen the preparedness of their local area. The Greenville County CERT training program conducts an average of 2 training sessions per year, usually in the spring and fall. There are also periodic refresher trainings offered.

Brief Description:	Berkeley County's CERT program is designed to work hand-in-hand with Charleston & Dorchester counties under Lowcountry CERT. Our program is designed to benefit emergency responders and local citizens alike. Members and leaders of the CERT program include amateur radio emergency services (ARES) personnel, local businesses, high school & college students, and local citizens who are looking to help prepare their families and neighbors for any future emergencies.

Brief Description:	Williamsburg County is combining efforts with the local churches of all demoninations within the county developing a Faith Based Strategy to assist the citizens in the event of an emergency. We have an active TEEN CERT program. Teen Cert makes our schools and communities safer by having educated/trained youth capable of preparing and responding to disasters and emergencies.

Brief Description:	Hampton County Emergency Management Division sponsors the CERT program under the direction of Instructor Julie Dimitrov. Our classes have been taught to high school student at WHHS. These Student are Health Occupations Studens that are studing to persue a career in the medical field. Julie has taught over 60 persons her in Hampton County.
