Brief Description:	The Nehalem Bay CERT program is part of the Nehalem Bay Emergency Volunteer Corps, a coordinated program to support the Nehalem Bay Region - the cities of Manzanita, Nehalem, Wheeler and surrounding areas - in emergency situations. The Nehalem Bay Volunteer Corps includes a Map Your Neighborhood Program, CERT, Medical Reserve Corps, amateur radio organization, Red Cross and Shelter organization, a Food Storage Committee and a Communications Committee.

Brief Description:	The Lewis & Clark RFPD covers 30 sq mi & 1000 homes south of Astoria. L&C CERT has initiated training & inventory of the area's primary ARC shelter at a local school. Ongoing shelter preparations began in Feb, 2011. we are trained in Shelter Ops & Management. The shelter is equipped with communications capabilities. The Team works with the fire dept, school district, & Ham radio communications experts. L&C CERT participates in training and drills with other local CERTs in the county.

Brief Description:	Created in 1999 after the community experienced a severe flood on New Years day 1997, Ashland's CERT program has trained over 450 volunteers to be better prepared to survive in a disaster making Ashland's CERT program among the most successful in the nation. Ashland CERT has been mobilized over thirty times for activities ranging from managing emergency shelters to evacuating residents during wild fires. Ashland CERT's core competency is "preparing our community to endure disasters."

Brief Description:	Umpqua Valley CERT educates community members about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and provides training in basic disaster response skills. CERT workshops provide 24 hours of basic training followed by an emergency disaster simulation. When you have completed the basic training, it is important to stay involved and practice your new skills. Brief Description:	Our CERT program has developed its own 501(c)(3)status whose funds are to be used exclusively for training. Our group participates in numerous civic activities such as preparedness fairs, safety meetings, community gatherings, county fair, city fairs, etc. They have instituted a community outreach program focused on Map Your Neighborhood. Brief Description:	The Central Point CERT has now been involved with one Basic Training, having hosted the training in Central Point. We work closely with Bear Creek and Jacksonville CERTs and with the county (Jackson Cnty., Oregon) and affiliated with the Central Point Police Department, as part of the City of Central Point's Emergency Operations. Brief Description:	Bear Creek CERT hopes to recruit new members to better prepare our area for disaster. Brief Description:	The Eugene CERT organization was formed in 2004 to train members of the local community in disaster preparedness, and to provide back-up and support for our emergency services. Brief Description:	Tigard's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)training promotes a partnering effort between emergency services the city and the people they serve. Brief Description:	We have a very active CERT program with monthly training meetings and at least one exercise per year. Our area is along the Oregon Coast which is very vulnerable to tsunamis and great earthquakes, so we do considerable training for these situations. We also have a very active CERT HAM communications group which also trains monthly and offers specialized communication support for our CERT group. Brief Description:	After a lengthy absence the Woodburn Fire District CERT program has recently been started up again. We have started the first class at the end of January of 2013 and are plannnig to hold 6 classes per year.
