| Brief Description: | The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony CERT program goal is to provide basic CERT rescue/disaster skils to community members. The idea is to invite potential members to see the value of having certain skills, knowledge and the required experience aquired through practice and training to provide basic rescue skills in times of diaster and emergency. The program once established will meet monthley to practice and train on the new skils and devlop a teamwork attitude aproach. |

| Brief Description: | Douglas County CERT program became operational in October, 2012, with a team of 34 individuals. We are actively recruiting and conducting quarterly CERT training on to meet our goal of a 75 member team. We are also beginning to provide specialty training in the areas of Incident Rehabilitation, Shelter Deployment, Animal Welfare, Wildland Urban Interface Fire Support, and EOC Support. |

| Brief Description: | The Mineral County CERT is formed to help provide supplemtal services to the community in the even of situations that tax local resources. This small county has limited human resources so a multidiscplinary CERT team will prove crucial. This is a reformation of a prior effort at forming a CERT in the years past. The community and authorities having jurisdiction are supportivce of this. All training will be conducted by certified instructors. |
