Brief Description:	The Pompton Lakes CERT currently has members broken into three teams town-wide. They are prepared to take care of themselves, their families, their neighborhoods, and the community as a whole in the case of a disaster. Their assistance to first responders allows those first responders to address the community's most critical needs first. They meet on the 3rd Monday of each month for further training and also have joint exercises with the local First Aid Squad and Fire Dept.

Brief Description:	The Fanwood CERT is a trained team to supplement the first responders and assist our Police, Fire and EMS departments, as part of Fanwood's OEM. Brief Description:	The Bernardsville CERT Team is organized into three groups. Brief Description:	Members have participated in CERT exercises at Picatinny Arsenal in Sussex County; CERT/RACES Drills/Training; Operation REDZONE; CERT Day events at BCLPSI; decon drills at a local hospital; local emergency shelter operations; Active Shooter exercise; etc. Ho-Ho-Kus CERT hosted a joint, two day exercise with Mahwah CERT which covered daytime and nighttime operations, in which the CERT personnel used all their skills learned in many classes in on-the-ground events in woodlands and marshlands.

Brief Description:	THE CITY OF RAHWAY HAS 45 GRADUATED MEMBERS IN THE CERT PROGRAM. RAHWAY CERT MEMBERS TAKE PART BI-ANNUAL IN SERVICE TRAINING AND EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. Brief Description:	The Phillipsburg Cert Team is available for all types of emergencies. They also participate in Community Awareness programs. They assist at parades and other public events. Brief Description:	Neptune City CERT is an organization comprised of citizens who provide supplementary assistance to the various emergency services both in preparation of and in response to any event it is deemed required. The team consists of people of all ages and abilities. Initial training consists of ten training sessions covering basic firefighting, first aid, and hazard mitigation, followed by continuing training an exercises. All training is provided and no previous experience is necessary.

Brief Description:	We currently have 119 active members, the CERT Team is activated frequently to assist the police, DPW and fire departments to assist with installing barricades, filling sandbags and protecting public from downed wires or emergency scenes. We have an excellent relationship with the emergency services departments. In addition have been deployed numerous times to assist the County OEM and Red Cross with Staffing of shelters and assiting with distributing emergency supplies to flood victims.

Brief Description:	The CERT is a group of volunteers that will give critical support to residents & 1st responders in major emergencies & special events.They offer immediate care for victims at a disaster site and collect information to support first responder efforts.They perform many function including planning & logistics tasks during both planned & unplanned events.Also provided public info at township events & on television news shows to not only get more members but advertise for the county & state programs.
