Brief Description:	The Crookston CERT Program was developed to assist primary emergency services in the event of natural disaster. CERT members are volunteers that live in various wards within the community.

Brief Description:	The Centennnial Lakes Community Emergency Respone Team is a program that offers a place for people who live or work in the community to give their time as volunteers and in the meantime learn life-saving essential skills to help others in crisis. We offer two eight-week training sessions per year and are always looking to expand our efforts to address all community members taking into account each member's unique abilities, skills, and expertise they bring to the program.

Brief Description:	The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office CERT program offers new basic training in January, April and September each year. All CERT graduates are offered additional training each month on a variety of subjects. Many CERT graduates also become trained and volunteer in other available programs within the Sheriff's Office such as Citizen Academy, Community Affairs Officer and Project LifeSaver.

Brief Description:	The Lino Lakes CERT Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. CERT is about readiness and people helping people. CERT is a positive and realistic approach to emergency and disaster situations where citizens will be initially on their own and their actions can make a difference.

Brief Description:	The goal of the Bloomington CERT program is to strengthen community preparedness and participation by increasing community resiliency and improving personal and community-level preparedness for response. Bloomington CERT offers Basic Training 2 times per year; in the spring and in the fall. CERT members participate in personal and family preparedness outreach and education events in the community.

Brief Description:	We had the first CERT Team in MN to save a life in a recent flood. The team saved an 85 year old female from drowning in her basement. She was putting boxes up on unsecure shelving that fell on top of her and pinned her in rising water. The Team rescured her. The water was 3 feet plus on the final check a day later.

Brief Description:	We are be starting our program in April 2011. Our goal is to start with 12 qualified individuals that are able to assist in a natural disaster situation. Once our training is completed, we are looking at having quarterly meetings. We are planning on using our CERT program for any natural disasters that may occur and for local community events. We can also use them for large fires that may occur in our city or for light search and rescue incidents.
