Brief Description:	The Boston College C-CERT is designed to supplement professional emergency responders. Their main goal is to help ensure the safety of the campus and surrounding community in the event of a disaster, and to provide basic first-aid, search and rescue and support to victims. Brief Description:	Emergency Preparedness starts at the personal and community level. Sudbury established its CERT organization under the umbrella of the Sudbury Local Emergency Planning Committee, and it reports to Emergency Management Director, Fire Chief Kenneth MacLean. Broadly stated, its mission is to educate the community on emergency pre-paredness and, upon the direction of the Emergency Management Director, deploy trained teams of volunteers to assist first responders during a major emergency.

Brief Description:	The Brookline CERT training is a 10 week program which includes: CPR/AED/first aid, basic fire suppression, personal emergency preparedness, mass care, shelter operations and search & rescue. Regular continuing education courses are also offered throughout the year on a variety of topics such as directing traffic, NIMS/ICS, amateur radio operations, as well as, fieldtrips, drills and regular meetings. Brief Description:	Newburyport OEM is an agency responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive emergency program for Newburyport Ma. Petersham held the State's first TEEN CERT program in the summer of 2012, graduating 4 adults and 7 Teens, 5 of which were Boy scouts as part of their Eagle Scout badge. Brief Description:	CERT meets regularly on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Central Fire Station, 56 Temple Street at 7PM. Monthly meetings, training sessions, participation in Hurricane Drills and activation in all of the storm emergencies to provide sheltering, transportation, security and assist those with flooded homes or without power. The CERT Rehab Unit, operated by a CERT crew, provides refreshments and shelter at all working fires in Whitman and local area. We are always seeking new members.

Brief Description:	In May of 2006 the Town of Maynard called together an informational meeting seeking volunteers to become part of the Town's emergency preparedness efforts and establish a volunteer reserve corps. The Maynard Citizen Corps/Medical Reserve Corps (MCC/MRC) was then created to assist Town officials to prepare for and respond to a natural or man made emergency such as influenza pandemic, bioterrorist event or hazardous weather conditions.

Brief Description:	The Franklin County Citizen Corps has a cadre of HAM radio operators and work closely with the Franklin County MRC (Medical Reserve Corps and DART (Disaster Animal Response Team) offering significant support resources to our 26 communities. Brief Description:	Plympton CERT started in 2005 in conjunction with Halifax on a Grant Regional training/class basis under the Halifax Police Department; currently both CERT programs are under the auspices of the respective Fire Departments' Chiefs.
