Brief Description:	Our CERT participants have assisted at County Fairs, Health Fairs, Safety Fest, Point of Distribution Exercises and industry exercises. We plan to use our CERT participants to help set up and run shelters, assist at Incident Command and Emergency Operations Center and assist in their own neighborhoods. We would like to have a team in each neighborhood. We would also like to help the counties around us to start CERTs in their counties. We started a new CERT class on September 17, 2012 with 13 students.

Brief Description:	Olathe CERT is inclusive for all citizens of Olathe and surrounding area. It is open to the public, including any private or public business. At this time, we do not charge for the classes. Although the CERT page is under redesign, you can sign up anytime on the city's olatheks.org/fire web site. Olathe CERT is ran through a chief's advisory board and fully supported by the city.

Brief Description:	We currently provide traffic control for major community parades and events. Local police and fire departments have provided training for tasks they would expect to call us for assistance for; missing children/people, traffic control that would free up professional responders, drive thru vaccination clinics, etc.

Brief Description:	Butler County CERT is an active group that volunteers 4,000 to 5,000 hours per year. We are fortunate to not deal with a bunch of real life emergencies. Consequently, the core, active group have engaged themselves in the community and providing assistance to law enforcement. They participate in festivals, crowd control, football parking, public education, assisting with Health Department and Hospital flu clinic, evidence searches for Law Enforcement, missing person searches, etc.

Brief Description:	Lincoln County CERT Team supports emergency services in the event of a large scale disaster or emergency. Since that time it has grown into additional roles to support operations. Lincoln County CERT team is able to provide shelter and EOC operations, Fire Suppport, Traffic control, ETC. Lincoln County CERT has teamed with the American Red Cross to provide better support in these areas. Basic training classes are provided as needed on a flexible schedule for the instructors and students.

Brief Description:	Monthly meetings on 3rd Thursday. Additional training on 4th Tuesday & 4th Saturday. Offer ham radio operator & moulage classes. Some other teams for various deployments during times of emergencies or disasters include strike teams for Point of Distribution sites,decontamination teams for local hospitals,sheltering team,team to accompany & assemble a portable hospital & decon tents for our 19 County Homeland Security Council Region, & patient tracking team in the event of a mass casualty event.

Brief Description:	The Southwest Johnson County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is open to everyone who wishes to learn how to help people in the County and surrounding areas to prevent and respond to local disasters. The CERT team upon activation by a team leader will report to the designated staging area for deployment. Individual response to an incident is prohibited unless authorized by the Incident Commander or Johnson County EOC/OEM.
