Brief Description:	The Chatham County CERT Team has trained 200 volunteers. Volunteers complete the 20 hour program as well as a final disaster simulation and are required to complete 24 hours of service a year to remain active. CERT members assist in day to day Emergency Management operations including Emergency Operations Center checks and developing training and exercise programs. The Chatham Emergency Management Agency formed a nationally certified Search and Rescue Team consisting of CERT volunteers.

Brief Description:	Butts County Citizen Corps Council CERT promotes a partnering between emergency management and response agencies and the people in the community that they serve. Brief Description:	Berrien County CERT meets the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month. We are much more than a team; we are a family. Our goal is to serve the community in any way we can within the framework of CERT. Thus far, we've only been called to serve in non-emergency situations. Brief Description:	Basic CERT training is a 20 hour course. It is designed to teach citizens how to take care of their homes & families in the event of a disaster. Brief Description:	The Cherokee Sheriffs Office Division of Emergency Management provides free CERT training to citizens of Cherokee County. Brief Description:	We provide CERT courses 3 times a year with a 9 week course. Classes are held at the Fire Rescue Hdqtrs. building at 1950 W.Exchange Place in Tucker on Tuesday or Thursday nights from 7:00 to 9:30 PM. We also have a drill once a year for that years students. We encourage CERT students to organize teams within their neighborhoods and offer an opportunity to join the Fire Rescue Corps. Members may perform cold zone activities or staff a canteen unit that provides meals for personnel at scenes.

Brief Description:	In addition to our adult program we have a very active TEEN CERT program. Both programs have seen a huge benifit as it relates to first aid. Four of our members both adult and teen have been responsible for saving three lives and providing medical treatment to many others. Brief Description:	Sandy Springs Fire Rescue offers CERT training to our community. Brief Description:	Teen Cert training is on our radar but not currently scheduled. We try to offer CERT training classes a minimum of twice per year. This is advertised in the local papers and on the local radio stations as well as Facebook. Chattooga County Cert has assisted with the Christmas parade, 5k race, CHS race, Halloween Walk and other local events. CERT was on standby during the fire in Berryton this year.
