Brief Description:	The North Naples Fire District's CERT program is year round Community involvement project. Brief Description:	CERT members trained through the PBC CERT Program have been assisted in community based exercises and drills by the Division of Emergency Management. Once trained; the intent is to ensure CERTs stay engaged and become self-sufficient by conducting refresher trainings promoting disaster prepardeness. Brief Description:	We are seeking a new effort to further reach out to the community as a whole especially the non-governmental organizations located in Jackson County. The initial response is to have churches sponsor their own CERT teams. We also want to provide a dual track opportunity for emergency operations in the county. Brief Description:	The Community Emergency Response Team in Leesburg, FL assists in the numerous Special Events held in Leesburg, such as Mardi Gras, BikeFest, Black Heritage Festival, Fine Art Festival, Independence Day event, and others. Brief Description:	IMFD will be providing a spring class starting on March 15, 2011. Brief Description:	The Walton County CERT program is the original program started from the Citizens Corp grant in 2004. The program is promoted as an opportunity to provide training to citizens who are willing to go the extra step to protect and care for themselves, their family and their neighbors in times of disaster when emergency resources are delayed. This training is free to the communuty and not restricted to any jurisdictional boundry. We also do not require that you join a "team" to attend the training.
