Brief Description:	EH CERT's core mission is to assist emergency personnel during times of disaster. We also work with the Greater Hartford Salvation Army Canteen. The canteen provides drinks and food to displaced people and emergency workers at the scene of different types of incidents such as residential fires, large accidents or missing person searches. Additionally we regularly assist the Metro Traffic Division in the Capitol Region with DUI check points throughout the Greater Hartford Area.

Brief Description:	CERT meets the 3rd Mon of the month.The program uses hands on training w/drills & exercises. Brief Description:	The City of Norwich Community Emergency Response Team(CERT) was established in July 2010. Our primary mission is to be a stop-gap response team, as well as a Support Element for the City's Primary First Responders (Police, Fire, EMS). Our founding members are currently trained in CERT Through FEMA and DEMHS and are certified in CPR and First Aid/Basic Life Support(FABLS).

Brief Description:	The Andover CERT supports the First Selectman and First Responders of the town during major emergencies. The team is trained to operate a shelter that includes animal sheltering, support the local health department at clinics and alternate care sites, and educate the public on a variety of preparedness and safety issues. The team is also prepared to assist with search and rescue operations, support evacuation efforts, and local distribution efforts.

Brief Description:	The mission of the Hamden CERT Team is to assist our Police and Fire Department when needed. Either a planned public event or any large-scale emergency that would drain the on-duty personnel is when our team would be called to serve. We also assist with rehabilitation for emergency responders in extreme weather conditions, and temporary relocation for displaced families.

Brief Description:	Bristol CERT has attended the Citizen Corps annual conference for the past 2 years,and looks forward to this year. This is a opportunity to particpate in workshops and connect with other teams. When possible we train with other local teams, and are in the process of training several members as HAM Radio Operators. Brief Description:	We serve the need of the senior housing complexes and the residences located in that area. We also assist in the shelter when it is open during emergencies. Brief Description:	The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, and disaster medical operations. Using their training, CERT members can assist others in their neighborhood or workplace following an event and can take a more active role in preparing their community. The program is administered by the Department of Homeland Security DHS.

Brief Description:	The Milford Health Department CERT members have played an integral part in health related safety programs conducted in our City. They have been very active in flu clinics especially during the 2009-2010 pandemic, Points of Dispensation exercises that have been conducted locally, and assisting at Hazardous Materials collection sites hosted by our Public Works Department. Our CERT population disseminates health related information at a variety of public venues on an annual basis.

Brief Description:	The Valley Shore Emergency Management Emergency Association(VSEMA) is made up of volunteers from the towns in the lower Middlesex County valley. We will respond to any request for additional manpower in the area. The team responded to the Kleen Energy power plant explosion in Middletown.They have also supplied manpower for several flu clincs and help pack food baskets for Helping hand during the holidays. Brief Description:	The City of New Haven CERT team has participated in 3 full scale exercises under the direction and control of the Emergency Operations Center. Two of the exercises were based on HOST community responsibilities required for nuclear preparedness. Brief Description:	The Region 3 CTSART CERT is 1 of 5 unique CERTs created to respond Regionally in support of animals in disasters. Unlike municipal CERTs, CTSART-CERTs are public-private partnerships tied to the Regional Emergency Planning Team of each DEMHS Preparedness Region and the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Foundation. The mission of CTSART-CERTs is to shelter evacuated household pets of evacuated citizens. They do this by creating an animal shelter adjacent to Regionally planned mass care shelters.
