Brief Description: The program refers to the CERT members who were trained by the City of Aurora and are deployable ONLY when requested by the city of Aurora via the Office of Emergency Management. This registration is also extended to approve the Heritage Eagle Bend's ICS team, as they continue to train and practice ICS functions as taught within the CERT program and guidelines.

Brief Description: The Brighton CERT team's mission is to prepare, train, educate and coordinate individuals within the community to integrate with planning, response and recovery efforts in the local and regional area. We accomplish this mission by providing classes for the local community as well as providing support for the City of Brighton at events and during times of disaster. Team meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 6pm at the Brighton Police Department.

Brief Description: The Washington County CERT is under the direction of the Washington County Office of Emergency Management. The Washington County CERT holds quarterly trainings throughout the year in addition to other training opportunities with local emergency response agencies. We have a representative on the county LEPC and participate in other emergency planning for the county. The Washington County CERT participates in exercises in conjunction with other county emergency response agencies.

Brief Description: The Denver CERT program includes how to plan for a disaster and trains basic response skills. At the completion of this training, participants are encouraged to support emergency response agencies by taking a more active role in emergency preparedness projects in our community. Denver is the sponsoring organization for nonprofits and faith based organizations like OMEGA which helps us instruct, develop and oversee our training programs and class exercises to make us a stronger community.

Brief Description: The Office of Emergency Management holds six CERT classes per year. Two classes are held on weekends, two during the weekdays and two are evening classes. Instructors are from the Colorado Springs Office of Emergency Management, Fire, and Police Departments. Many of the CERT participants volunteer with local organizations such as the American Red Cross, Pikes Peak Chapter; ARES, Neighborhood Watch and the Four Wheel Emergency Assistance Team.

Brief Description: Our Team meets once a month on Saturday mornings to disscuss future trainings, compare equipment that we have added to our standarized packs and share/compare experiences while being deployed.Our First Responders have come to recognize the value of CERT. Brief Description: Kit Carson county CERT is comprised of general volunteers from our Retired volunteers group. They are specifically trained in the Red Cross Shelter operations and staffing. They have also participated in the Public Health mass vaccination clinics. In addition to continuing the above activities, members participated in a full scale Grain Elevator Explosion exercise in May 2012. Members were tasked with ESF 6 operations, and EOC participation.
