Brief Description: The Denali Emergency Rescue Team is designed to provide assistance to the Fire/EMS units in the local area as well as SAR assistance to the Denali National Park. The team also specializes in Avalanche and Back Country rescue as well as neighborhood preparedness. They participate in local community events and promote local community preparedness.

Brief Description: The Kenai Peninsula Borough Citizen Corps program offers CERT training in cooperation with Emergency Response Organizations Borough-wide. CERT volunteers are involved in additional training, exercises and community preparedness outreach.

Brief Description: We provide the free, basic 20 hour CERT training on request for community groups, workplaces, congregations and the general public. Scheduling is very flexible with classes on weekdays, evenings,or weekends. Classes can be held at your facility or at most fire stations throughout the borough.

Brief Description: Campus-CERT uses full-time employees within the University of Alaska Anchorage system to provide immediate assistance to the campus police or incident management team during normal working hours. Campus-CERT members assist with emergency planning, exercise development, exercise play & review, and drills with admnistration and local stakeholders.

Brief Description: UAF C-CERT is composed of volunteer UAF staff and faculty who are tasked with supporting the UAF Fire and Police departments during large scale exercises and real emergencies. Although our primary mission is to support the UAF campus community, we are ready and willing to support the greater Fairbanks community if needed. Limited space is available for community members to be trained in, and to participate in UAF C-CERT. Please contact us if interested.

Brief Description: The Juneau campus of the University of Alaska Southeast has about 20 C-CERT employee volunteers who periodically meet to develop and practice life saving skills to support local first responders during campus emergencies. Volunteers participate in regular training classes supplemented by exercises, usually with the involvement of local first responders
